PARA’s mission is to come alongside individuals, and families struggling with the issues of life including lack of resources, addiction and co-occurring disorders. Our focus is to ensure that individuals and families are connected to services to address their needs, by conducting professional assessment, linkage or specialized service provision as needed to enhance the lives of individuals, create stronger families and positively impact communities.

Professional Assessment and Referral Assistance (PARA) delivers a comprehensive, community-based approach to supporting individuals impacted by substance use and co-occurring disorders. PARA’s model integrates assessment, referral, peer support, and holistic wellness practices to address the full spectrum of recovery needs.
Our Approach
Central to this approach is PARA’s commitment to serving not only individuals, but also the family systems connected to them. Through a culturally responsive and trauma-informed framework, PARA incorporates both adult-focused recovery support and youth-centered prevention programming.
